Sanju Samson, the skipper of Rajasthan Royals has claimed the third spot on the most sixes list after playing a sensible knock against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday.
Samson played a crucial inning of 54 runs off 49 deliveries against Kolkata Knight Riders and edged past Liam Livingstone and Kl Rahul (both hit 20 so far) to claim the third spot. Jos Butler, the opener of Rajasthan remains firm at the top of the table with 36 sixes to his name, while Andre Russell with 22 sixes was at second.
The 27-year-old Samson, who was at a joint-3rd place with Liam Livingstone and Kl Rahul with 20 sixes before the start of the game, scored a half-century in the 47th match with the help of seven fours and 1 six.
So far in IPL 2022, he has scored 298 runs with an average of 33.11 in 10 matches.

After setting the platform to reach a respectable total the skipper got out on 54, and with his team’s middle-order batters quick runs in the last couple of overs helped Rajasthan to put 150+ on board.
But the Royals bowlers failed to restrict Kolkata batters as Rajasthan lost the game by seven wickets. For the Royals, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, and Kuldeep Sen took one wicket each.
Rajasthan Royals are currently in third place on the points table and will face Punjab Kings in their upcoming game on May 7, 2022, at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
