After defeating the Kolkata Knight Riders in a nail-biting game yesterday, the Lucknow Super Giants have officially qualified for the IPL 2022 playoffs.
But with only 4 matches to go in the league stage, and five teams still in contention, it becomes a tough topic to predict even for mathematicians who will be those final two teams apart from GT and LSG to qualify for the playoffs.
However, to clear this confusion, everyone’s favorite TV presenter and commentator Harsha Bhogle expressed his views on the playoff scenarios and predicted who will the final four teams heading into the playoffs.
Harsha believes that Rajasthan Royals will win their final game against CSK and will finish their league’s campaign on second spot. While Lucknow Super Giants will end their run on third spot.
For the fourth position, for which 4 teams are on the line, Harsha feel that Delhi Capitals has a better chance if they beat Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
The 1st Qualifier game and the Eliminator match will be held at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24 and 26, respectively.
While the 2nd qualifier will be played at the scenic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 27 as well as the final at the same ground on May 29. Fans can watch the final 4 games in the stadium itself as BCCI allowed full capacity.
