Devon Conway started his domestic career in South Africa. He was a part of his domestic team Gauteng and was picked up in the squad for Africa T20 Cup in 2015. He scored 53 runs in 3 matches during the tournament.
However, he didn’t get much chance to prove his worth so he decided to move to New Zealand at the age of just 26 years.
In 2018, Devon Conway started playing for Wellington and was picked up in the squad for Plunket Shield season 2018-19. In his second match, he scored a double century. During the complete season, Conway played well and ended the season as the highest run-getter. He smashed 659 runs in 7 matches.
In the Super Smash league in 2018, Conway scored 363 runs in just 9 matches he played in the tournament.

Once Devon Conway was granted permission to play for New Zealand in August 2020 by ICC, Conway was picked up in the squad of New Zealand A against West Indies and then was picked up in the New Zealand squad for a T20I series against West Indies. Devon Conway made his international debut on 27 November 2020 in a T20I match against West Indies.
A few days later, he was included in the Test squad as well but didn’t get a chance to appear in playing-11.
In March 2021, Devon Conway made his ODI debut against Bangladesh. In the third match of his career, Conway smashed a century and helped his team in winning the match.
Devon Conway made his Test debut against England on 2nd June 2021. He smashed a century on his debut and become the 12th batter to achieve the record
and also the 2nd batter to score a debut century at Lords. Conway scored a double century in the match which is the highest score by any batter on debut in England.
Devon Conway was picked up in the squad of New Zealand for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup but was ruled out in the finals after getting injured.
