In the first T20I of India’s three-match series against England, which begins on Thursday, July 7, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is scheduled to make his international debut.
After recuperating from COVID-19, the dependable captain Rohit Sharma is back. He did not attend the fifth Test, which England easily won by seven wickets at Edgbaston to tie the five-match series at 2-2.
Arshdeep, who was passed over for the home series against South Africa, was shown receiving the cap from Rohit as he made his international debut. In the IPL 2022 season, Punjab Kings had outstanding performances that led to the debut.
Before the game, BCCI tweeted, “Congratulations to @arshdeepsinghh who is all set to make his T20I debut for #TeamIndia He receives his cap from Captain @ImRo45 #ENGvIND”

The young cricketer built a reputation for himself as a death overs specialist for his team Punjab Kings during the season of the 2022 Indian Premier League by putting out consistent performances. He was selected by India for the T20 International match against South Africa as a result of his performance.
Umran Malik, who had also been chosen due to his strong IPL 2022 performance, made his team debut in Ireland. In his second game for the team against Ireland, Umran had taken his maiden career wicket in a match.
Sanju Samson will not play for the side that just defeated Ireland in a 2-match series. After scoring a century against Ireland, Deepak Hooda will remain the No. 3 hitter.
