Arjun Tendulkar has got some work to do: Shane Bond
According to the former New Zealand speedster, Arjun has to invest a lot of practice and put a huge amount of effort if he wants to enhance his batting and his fielding. “He has got some work to do. He has to work on his batting and fielding before finding a place in the team,” said Shane Bond.
In the meantime, after not playing in any matches during the Indian Premier League, Arjun was handed another devastating blow when he was cut from the Mumbai squad for the Ranji Trophy knockout matches that are lining up.
Previously, Sachin Tendulkar even acknowledged the guidance he provided to Arjun, stating he should concentrate on his play rather than stressing about earning an opportunity in the playing XI. As per Sachin, he definitely gets engaged in the selecting process and reserves the subject to the team management.
“This is a different question. What I am thinking or what I feel is not important. The season is already over. And if we speak about selection, I have never involved myself in selection. I leave all these things to the (team) management because that is how I have always functioned”, said Tendulkar.
