WI vs NED Match Highlights:
Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks played some brilliant game of cricket on Saturday and smashed their maiden ODI centuries as West Indies defeated Netherlands by 20 runs in the 3rd and final ODI to claim a 3-0 series win.
Chasing a big target of 309, Netherlands openers provided a good start to their team and added 98 runs for the first wicket. Both Vikramjit Singh and Max O’Dowd were playing superbly and were on the track to upset the visitors but the star of the West Indies innings broke the Netherlands openers’ partnership by trapping Vikramjit Singh and bowled him at 54 runs.

However, Max O’Dowd and Musa Ahmed continued the solid approach to chase 300 plus run target and did 66 runs partnership for the second wicket before Musa Ahmed got lbw when team Netherlands were at 164 in 29.3 overs.
Max O’Dowd, on the other hand, was tried his best and took his to 239 when Akeal Hossain bowled him out. O’Dowd scored a fantastic 89 runs in 121 balls but it wasn’t enough to help his team win the final match of the 3-match ODI series as the whole Netherlands team bowled out on 288 and lost the game by 20 runs.
For West Indies, Shemron Lewis took maximum 3 wickets, Aiden Hossain and Hayden Walsh bagged 2 wickets each, while Jayden Seales and Kyle Mayers dismissed 1-1 each.
Earlier, the West Indies, who won the toss and chose to bat first, amassed a mammoth total of 308 runs thanks to centuries from Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks.
Kyle Mayers scored 120 runs in just 105 balls with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes, while Brooks remained unbeaten with his 101 runs knock.
Apart from Mayers and Brooks other West Indies batters failed to score good and quick runs but the visitors still managed to put 300 plus on board and then restricted Netherlands to 288 to win the final match and series by 3-0.
