Indian cricketer Vivrant Sharma was born on October 30, 1999. On February 21, 2021, he made his List A debut for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2020–2021 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

On November 4, 2021, he played his first Twenty20 match for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the IPL 2023 mini-auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad purchased him for 2.6 crores, 13 times his basic price.

His latest Domestic Season

He scored 128 runs in five games during the 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, with a top score of 63, and also claimed six wickets. With Samarth Vyas joining SRH for 20 lahks and Sanvir Singh following him for 20 lakh, Vivrant concluded as Set 7’s highest buy.

With his 124-ball 154 against Uttarakhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 competition, left-handed opener Vivrant made headlines and helped Jammu and Kashmir secure its first-ever knockout round participation in tournament history.

He had top-scored earlier in the competition when J&K chased down a massive 343 against Ranji Trophy-defending champion Madhya Pradesh with a 62-ball 69.

With 395 runs at an average of 56.42, Vivrant finished the 50-over competition as the team’s second-highest scorer. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he amassed 128 runs at a superb strike rate of 145.45, including two fifty-plus scores.
