NZ vs IRE 3rd T20 Highlights: Glenn Philips once again showed his class and played a match-winning unbeaten 56 runs knock to help the side clean sweep the T20 series against Ireland on Friday.
After posting a good total on board of 174 runs, team Ireland failed to trap Philips as a result they faced a sixth consecutive defeat in the series against New Zealand (3 ODIs).

Earlier, the hosts after winning the toss opted to bat, they lost their captain Andrew Balbirnie early, but with the help of joint efforts from Paul Stirling (40 off 29) and Lorcan Tucker (28 off 19), Ireland reached a good mark at the halfway stage of their innings.
However, they then got out, and the hosts were on a roll of losing wickets with just 116 on board in 16.3 overs and lost 6. But then Curtis Campher and Mark Adair played crucial knocks of 19 off 8 and 37 off 15 respectively to help Ireland reach the 174 mark in 20 overs.
New Zealand batter came on the field to whitewash the T20 series just the ODI one, however after losing two wickets early they didn’t feel any pressure as with joint efforts from Glenn Philips, Daryll Mitchell, and Jimmy Neesham they won the game by six wickets.
Neesham played a knock of a quick-fire unbeaten 23 at last in just 6 balls while Mitchell missed his half-century by just 2 runs in his 32-ball-48 knock.
It was some serious domination by the New Zealand side during the Ireland tour as even without playing with their regular players like Kane Williamson, Tim Southee, and Trent Boult and completely outshined the Ireland side and did a full clean sweep.
