Johnson is Seen Muttering While Yusuf was Unimpressed

LLC 2022: Yusuf was irritated and approached Johnson to respond, but while he was doing so, the chirping between the two continued. It got to the point where the two former international cricketers almost ran into each other. Johnson took exception to Yusuf’s proximity and shoved the departing batter. The former India all-rounder did not back down and was constantly verbally attacking. Johnson before the two were separated by the on-field umpire while the fielders looked on and on.

Former Australia speedster Mitchell Johnson and former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan had an ugly mid-pitch altercation during Sunday’s Legends League. In the match between Bhilwara Kings and India Capitals at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur.

The Incident Took Place at The End of The 19th Over of The Bhilwara Kings Innings.

Yusuf hammered Johnson for 6,4 and 6 off the first three balls. It disturbed Johnson a bit and when Johnson dismissed Yusuf in the last ball of the over things went out of control.

Johnson muttered a few words in an attempt to say goodbye to Yusuf. Yusuf, who was walking off the ground, came to a halt and responded similarly. Pathan and Johnson had a heated exchange at first, almost colliding. Johnson then shoved Pathan, prompting the umpires to intervene and separate the two.

In-form Yusuf Pathan (48 off 28) and Rajesh Bishnoi’s (36 not out of 11) assault in death overs saw Bhilwara Kings adding 56 runs in the last three overs to post a challenging total.

The former New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor and West Indies star Ashley Nurse smashed blazing half-centuries. To help India Capitals enter the final of Legends League Cricket after beating Bhilwara Kings by four wickets in the thrilling qualifier. Even though Yusuf’s knock and half-centuries powered the Kings to 226/5, the Capitals chased it down with three balls to spare.
