IPL 2023 mini-auction date and venue revealed; CSK denies trade requests for all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to conduct the mini-auction. The Indian Premier League this year in mid-December for IPL 2023.

All The IPL franchises have discussed among them the tentative dates for 2023. Also got an indication from the BCCI/IPL authorities that the cash-rich game to start from the fourth week of march 2023

Unlike last year, the number of players going under the hammer will be less as the bidding event would undergo only one day. The salary is likely to increase by 5 crores for the franchises this year. Previously, the salary was 90 crores.

The next season of men’s IPL will also go back home and away format with all the 10 teams playing their designated venues,” BCCI president Sourav Ganguly had mentioned in his letter to the state associations.

IPL 2023 auction date: December 16

Venue: ITC Gardenia hotel, Bengaluru

In the meantime, the four-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) rejected rumors that they had traded their great all-arounder Ravindra Jadeja to any other team. A few other teams have asked for the trade of Jadeja, including the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Delhi Capitals (DC). However, the CSK management has made it clear that they do not intend to part ways with the all-rounder. Who is widely regarded as one of the best in contemporary cricket.

The exchange/transfer window will remain open until one week before the mini-auction.
