IND vs NZ 2nd ODI 1st Innings Update:

1st Innings Update: After winning the toss India decided to bowl first and Mohammed Shami started off the bowling and produced a wicket of Fine Allen in the very first over. Indian Bowlers made sure that Kiwis did not get a proper start and on the other hand, wickets were falling. As India restricted New Zealand to 108 runs inside 34.3 overs.

The catching from the Indian fielders and mainly the pacers have been superb as they have been relentless and forced some errant shots from the visitors. It’s really terrific from India as the wickets keep falling as Shardul Thakur strikes to dismiss the New Zealand captain.

IND vs NZ Innings Update: New Zealand Batting Struggle

New Zealand is completely a different team today, as they are unable to answer the questions asked by Indian bowlers. Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell & Mitchell Santner were the only three batsmen who scored runs in two-digit figures. Is it a fault from New Zealand or is it better bowling from the Indian side?

One thing is sure India did bowl pretty well. We can say that Kiwis were completely shocked and bamboozled by the bowling performance. But Glenn Phillips was the standout batsman for the Kiwis as he carried the inning as much as he can. Glenn scored a brave 36 runs from 52 balls. This helped New Zealand to set a target of 109 runs.

IND vs NZ Highlights: Magnificent Bowling Performance from the Indian Side

The Indian fielders, especially the pacers, have been excellent at catching because they have been persistent and forced some inaccurate shots from the foreigners. It all began when Mohammed Shami, who is in the outstanding form today against the Kiwis, dismissed Finn Allen. In 6 overs, Shami took 3 wickets and conceded only 18 runs.

Hardik Pandya (2/16) and Washington Sundar (2/7) both picked up two wickets each. While on the other hand, Shardul Thakur, and Mohammed Siraj both took one wicket apiece to stop New Zealand from amassing huge runs.
