Venkatesh Iyer is an Indian right-arm medium-fast bowler as well as a left-hand batter. Venkatesh Iyer made his debut for India in November 2021 as an allrounder and batted at number 6. Venkatesh Iyer made his debut for his state team Madhya Pradesh in 2015 in a T20 match against Railways.

In December 2015, Venkatesh Iyer made his List A debut for Madhya Pradesh against Saurashtra. During a match against Punjab, Venkatesh Iyer scored 198 runs and broke the record of Highest score in a List A match.

Three years after his domestic debut, Venkatesh Iyer got a chance to make his debut in the first-class cricket. He made his debut in December,2018 for Madhya Pradesh.
