Tim Southee is New Zealand’s right-arm medium-fast bowler who can generate late swings. Southee has been a crucial member of the New Zealand squad for more than a decade and has been one of the most successful fast bowlers New Zealand has ever produced. Tim Southee started off his domestic career by playing for Northern Districts in 2006. In the same year, Southee was picked up in the Under-19 team of New Zealand. At the age of 17 years, Tim Southee was picked up in the Under-19 squad for ICC Under-19 World Cup. He picked 5 wickets in the tournament and
also scored 113 runs. Southee was picked up for the youth test series against India in 2007.
