Marnus Labuschagne made his first class debut at the age of 19 years for Queensland in Sheffield Shield Trophy in a match against South Australia. Marnus scored 83 runs in his debut innings.

In 2015 One Day Cup, Marnus Labuschagne made his List A debut for his domestic team. Marnus smashed his maiden century in the 2015 against South Australia in first-class cricket in 2015.

In 2016 One Day Cup, Marnus Labuschagne smashed 273 runs in 7 matches and he was named as the Player of the tournament for the season.
