Josh Reginald Hazlewood, popularly known as Josh Hazlewood was born in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia on 8 January 1991. Josh Hazlewood is an Australian right-arm fast bowler who is known for his accuracy in line and length and is wildly considered one of the best Test bowlers in the world. He has been a part of the Australian bowling unit for many years. Hazlewood has the ability to bowl inswing as well as outswing. Josh Hazlewood is also compared with the legendary pace-bowler and his former countryman Glenn McGrath. Josh Hazlewood started off his IPL career in 2020 by playing for Chennai Super Kings. In TATA IPL 2022, Josh Hazlewood was roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the mega auction for a whopping amount of 7.75 crores.

Hazlewood became the youngest fast-bowler for the team. He made his first-class debut against New Zealand in Sydney and took 3 wickets in the match.

At the age of 18 years, Josh Hazlewood was picked up in the Under-19 squad of Australia team for ICC Under-19 World Cup.
