After the T20 World Cup final victory in Barbados, players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from the T20I format. However, with more speculation arising Jasprit Bumrah decided to clear all the rumors during the felicitation ceremony at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday and gave his verdict over retirement plans.

He started by saying “It (Retirement) is a long way (away). I have just started. I am very happy that I have done well. Hopefully, it is far away now.” (Source: NDTV News) This single statement from Bumrah certainly clears all the rumors and indicates that Bumrah will continue to play cricket for India in all formats.

Then we saw him talking about his experience of his cricket journey, where he said “It feels amazing. This ground is really special in my life. I came as an U19 kid. What I have seen today on the ground, on the streets, and the people over here. I have never seen anything like that. To experience this and the emotions that we felt after the game is unreal.
