Avesh Khan was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India on 13 December 1996. Avesh Khan is an Indian right-arm fast bowler who has the ability to bowl constantly at the speed of 140 kmph. Avesh Khan came into the limelight when he performed well for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League in IPL 2021. Avesh Khan made his international debut for India in T20Is. In TATA IPL 2022, Avesh Khan was roped in by the newly formed Lucknow Super Giants in the mega auction for a whopping amount of 10 crores. Avesh Khan started off playing cricket at the age of 10 years. Avesh started playing with a Tennis ball and he generated some good pace even with the tennis ball. His uncle asked him to use leather ball and train with leather ball. At the age of 14 years, Avesh Khan joined Colts Cricket Club. His coach Amardeep Pathania always praised his skill even when Avesh father was not always in support of his cricket. His beginning was also came with some ups and downs when he didn’t not get a chance in the state team even after playing well in the age-level matches. During the trials conducted by Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, Avesh Khan got selected by the former national player Amay Khurasia. While playing for the Under-16 team of Madhya Pradesh, Avesh Khan developed his skillset and also increased his variations.

Avesh Khan made his domestic appearance in Under-16 cricket for Madhya Pradesh.

In 2014-15 Ranji Trophy season, Avesh Khan made his debut for Madhya Pradesh in a match against Delhi. At the age of just 17 years, Avesh Khan picked 15 wickets in 5 matches.

A year later, Avesh Khan was picked up in the Indian squad of Under-19 World Cup. Avesh took 12 wickets in 6 matches and helped India in their journey to the finals. Avesh Khan ended up as the highest wicket taker for his team in the tournament.

In 2017, Avesh Khan made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament for Madhya Pradesh.
