The cash-rich tournament Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been famous for its tremendous batting performances as well as immense hits that have fascinated the fans.

So, here I have listed the top batsmen with the maximum number of sixes, considered as the six-hitting machines of IPL.
Chris Gayle – 326 sixes
The dangerous opener of West Indies tops in the list of making the maximum number of sixes in IPL. The left-hander batsman plays for Kings XI Punjab and represented three franchises in IPL. He hit a minimum of 50 sixes in two editions. Chris Gayle smashed 59 numbers of sixes in 2012 IPL and in 2013 IPL, he hit 51 sixes. In 2019 IPL, he became the first batsman, who hit 300 sixes in IPL.
AB de Villiers – 212 sixes
AB de Villiers plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore and he is in the second position in the list with an average of 14 sixes in every season. In total, he hit 212 sixes.
In his career, he has played for two franchises in IPL- Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the 2016 season, he performed the best and smashed 37 number of sixes.
MS Dhoni – 209 sixes
The former captain of India, MS Dhoni has always proven himself as one of the outstanding finishers in the match again and again. He slammed 209 numbers of sixes in 109 matches and become the third batsman in the six-hitting list.
Since 2013 season, Dhoni hit the minimum 15 numbers of sixes in every season and he performed best in 2018 edition IPL when he smashed 30 hits to lead Chennai Super Kings to the winning title.
Rohit Sharma – 194 sixes
The vice-captain of the Indian team and captain of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma is one of the finest T20 batsmen all over the world. Now, he is placed in the fourth position in this six-hitting list. He slammed 194 maximums in IPL. From starting, he has played 188 matches in IPL and has scored 4898 runs with 25 fifty+ scores.
After Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina, he is the third-highest run-scorer in IPL.
Suresh Raina – 194 sixes
The veteran batsman of Chennai Super Kings scored the same number of maximums as India vice-captain Rohit Sharma in the IPL. But he has played 5 more games than Rohit.
After Virat Kohli (5412), Suresh Raina is the highest run-scorer in IPL by scoring 5368 runs. he always plays a major role in CSK’s multiple time title-winning campaigns.
