GAW VS TKR Match Highlights
Trinbago Knight Riders eliminated from the playoff race by the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
For the third time in a row, the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) have won in the CPL 2022. The warriors eliminated Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) from the Playoff RACE by defeating them by a score of 34 runs. The Warriors have already risen to second place in the CPL Points Table, collecting 9 points from 9 matches. TKR, on the other hand, concluded the LEAGUE stage at the bottom of the CPL 2022 Points Table with seven points.
Early start
Gurbaz had formed crucial alliances with Shai Hope (50 runs) and Shakib (60 runs), laying the groundwork for the Amazon Warriors’ competitive total under challenging circumstances, setting a target of 173/6 in 20 overs.

The first two games didn’t do well. Today was the night for me. Our team attitude was superb. When we got 170, everyone believed we could win. Gurbaz has been performing magnificently. The way he’s applied himself has been magnificent. His innings gave us a lot of confidence to us. The way Odean and Hetmyer finished gave us the momentum.”
