It was their star batter, Glenn Maxwell’s entertaining knock that was not only enjoyed by the supporters, but it also provided strength to his team’s total.

Sean Abbott was the pick of the bowler for Sydney Sixers as he bagged three wickets while giving 29 in four overs.
Sydney Sixers in reply, started decently and were very much in the game when their opener James Vince was at the middle.
However, as soon as he left the field after scoring 53, the Sixers lost wickets quite quickly.
From 96 for 2 to 97 for 5 and still needing 60 more in the next 34 balls, their next batters managed to more 43, which wasn’t enough to hand their side a win.
Marcus Stoinis changed the game after claiming the wickets of the well-set James Vince and Sydney Sixers captain, Moises Henriques.
Mark Steketee, however, bowled the most economical spell with three scalps in three overs while leaking just 14 runs.
