SS-W vs PS-W Match Highlights: Healy smashed an unbeaten 107 off 64 balls to lead her team to a six-wicket triumph after another Beth Mooney (75 runs off 51) and Marizanne Kapp (68 off 37) spectacularly drove the Scorchers to 4-176.

With a single, Healy set up a 61-ball century, and when Perry holed out to finish their 154-run partnership, Ashleigh Gardner was summoned to the crease with 19 needed off 10 balls. In Devine’s outstanding penultimate over, which only yielded five runs, Healy was dropped on the rope by Alana King, and Taneale Peschel had another opportunity to catch her, but she missed it by a whisker.

Kapp was caught at short fine for 68 off 37, breaking a 97-run partnership, as the Sixers looked for answers. This time, it was the in-form Gardner who had the answer. She had made 68 no of 34 against the Renegades the day before.

Ashleigh Gardner came in as an emergency hitter with 15 runs required off the last over, and she slammed back-to-back sixes. However, there was another twist in the tale when she was bowled and Erin Burns holed out the following delivery, leaving the Sixers requiring two off two. With a single from Nicole Bolton and a four over cover from Healy, the Sixers extended their advantage at the top of the WBBL standings.
WBBL 08: Beth Mooney’s Record
On her way to an unbeaten 75 that included nine fours and two sixes, Mooney scored 400 runs for the season, keeping her pristine record of achieving that milestone in each of the WBBL’s eight iterations.

Alyssa Healy won the player of the Match award for her amazing century which guided the Sixers to a victory over Perth. Healy scored unbeaten 107 runs with 12 fours and four sixes on a strike rate of 167.19.
