Yusuf Pathan and Tino Best starred in a nail-biting second match of the Legends League Cricket, where Bhilwara Kings claimed a 3-wicket win over Manipal Tigers.
Bhilwara Kings held their nerve to claim a victory over Manipal Tigers in Lucknow as they chased down a total of 154. Yusuf Pathan’s brilliant 44 off 28 balls and Tino Best’s late surge helped the side register win in their first game of the tournament.
Earlier, scored a superb 73 as the Manipal Tigers overcame a top-order collapse to record a total of 153 for seven.

Irfan Pathan, the skipper of Bhilwara Kings won the toss and opted to field first.
With both teams playing their first game in the tournament, it was the Bhilwara team who dominated the initial stage of the game when their bowlers broke opponents back by removing their top-5 batters at just 53.
Mohammed Kaif, who came into bat on no.4 for Manipal, was the only saviour for the Tigers as the veteran with his knock of 73 off 59, not only rebuild the innings but also help his side cross the 150-mark.
Tatendra Taibu (16 off 13), Pradeep Sahu (30 off 19), and shivakant Shukla’s unbeaten 16 off 12 also provided a much-needed support to set a decent target.
Fidel Edwards, who took four wickets for Bhilwara Kings ended his spell as the best bowler for his side.
In reply, Bhilwara Kings too lost both their openers early, Nick Crompton (18), and Tanmay Srivastava (28) played a handy knocks in the process. But it was Yusuf Pathan, who stole the show with his impactful knock of 44 in just 28 that featured four fours and two sixes.
Team needed 13 more to win in 10 when Yusuf got dismissed, but during the end scene, Tino Best did the unimaginable by playing a 214.28 strike rate cameo innings of 15 in 7 balls to help his side cross the winning line.
The four-wicket taker Fidel Edwards was awarded with the man of the match trophy.
