The most awaited T20 tournament in the world, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is all set to start from March 26th and the venues have been confirmed for the mega tournament. Basically, BCCI has previously announced the new format for this season – they have divided all the 10 teams into 2 groups. Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders?
There are many reports circulating in the cricketing universe that the opening game would be between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. But there is no proper evidence that these rumors are correct.
For this edition, IPL governing council has come up with a new format where all the 10 teams have been divided into 2 groups (Group A and Group B). Where CSK is in Group B and KKR are in Group A.

Few inside reports also say that the Maharastra officials are providing full support to BCCI in order to conduct the complete tournament at Pune and Mumbai. And the government is also planning to have a separate lane for easy movement of the IPL teams during the course of the tournament.
This idea to have a separate lane will actually help all the team in beating the busy traffic and they can arrive at the practice venue on time.

It is expected that BCCI is likely to announce the schedule on Sunday or Monday – And talking about the schedule BCCI treasure MR. Arun Dhumal said – “The full schedule of IPL 2022 will be released in the next 48 hours. BCCI has got all assurances & support from the Maharashtra government to conduct the IPL Season 15 as smoothly as it can get”
