# Bowling Attack
KKR’s bowling attack is strong and well-balanced, with spinners Narine and Varun providing 8 reliable overs. Varun, one of the IPL’s top spinners, took 20 wickets in 2023 and 21 last season, making him KKR’s top bowler. Narine also had a solid IPL 2024, taking 17 wickets. Harshit, who impressed last season with 19 wickets, has now earned a spot in India’s Test side and could lead the pace attack. Russell, a seasoned veteran, claimed 19 wickets last season at an average of 15.63, bringing his IPL tally to 115 wickets.

# New Captain
After releasing Shreyas Iyer ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, KKR became the first franchise in IPL to part ways with their title-winning captain for the following season. This move had left the captaincy role vacant, with KKR announcing Ajinkya Rahane, with his Indian experience. With Venkatesh Iyer as his deputy, the team will need time to get used to their roles.
