India Vs West Indies 1st Test Highlights:
After being dropped from the Indian team for the WTC final last month, Ravichandran Ashwin rejoined the squad on Wednesday and recorded his 33rd five-wicket haul to give India the advantage over a weak West Indies on the opening day of the first Test.
West Indies were reduced to a meagre 150 in 64.3 overs thanks to Ashwin’s five wicket haul for 60 runs in 24.3 overs. Ravindra Jadeja (3/26) also contributed with wickets.
At the top of the order, skipper Rohit Sharma (batting on 30) and rookie Yashasvi Jaiswal (batting 40 not out) shared an unbroken stand of 80 runs to reduce the first innings deficit to 70 runs going into the second day.

When Kohli hits 62 runs, he will move up to position 26 on the elite list. With 15,921 runs, Sachin Tendulkar tops the list.
