Why is Sanju Samson not playing Today?
The wicketkeeper-batsman for Team India, Sanju Samson, the was once again unable to make the starting lineup for the second T20I match against New Zealand on November 20. Samson’s final T20I match took place in August 2022 while the West Indies were on tour. He was not selected for either the 2022 T20 World Cup or the 2022 Asia Cup teams.
The Indian team players like Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Hooda for the middle order, with Rishabh Pant selected to start the inning.
Fans not happy with Sanju’s exclusion
Fans of Sanju Samson took to Twitter to express their outrage after Team India revealed their playing 11 for the second T20I against New Zealand. Samson’s exclusion from the starting 11 for the second T20I at Mount Maunganui was the cause.
Fans of Samson believe that the captain of the Rajasthan Royals is often sacrificed in order to change other players. In the past, Samson has expressed his pride in being a member of the team and his desire to succeed each time he performs well with the bat.
One fan wrote, “Seriously it’s hard to imagine in the shoes of #Sanjusamson ….You are not doing anything wrong still you are not finding a place in the playing eleven…..You please leave the Indian team.”
While another one wrote, “That’s how things work for Sanju Samson since 2014, the most unfairly treated player ever in Indian cricket history.”
The problem is that the Indian team has three wicketkeepers: Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant, and Sanju Samson. Ishan has the prior experience of opening for Team India in the past, and Pant is the vice-captain. Samson discarded as a result, and India chose them instead because they need to provide some consistency for Pant and Kishan.
IND Vs NZ 2nd T20I update

The no.1 ranked batter in the T20Is, Suryakumar Yadav once again came to rescue his side and currently standing on crease alongside Shreyas Iyer and helping the team to reach a good total.
