ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-up Fixtures
India will be up against Bangladesh in their only warm-up contest on June 1. The time and venue of India’s clash is yet to be revealed.
17 teams out of 20 will play the warm-ups from May 27 to June 1 in the USA and Trinadad and Tobago.
England, Pakistan and New Zealand are not participation in the warm-up games. As England, who are hosting Pakistan for a 4-match series, starting May 22 will directly play the main event. And New Zealand too follows the same route and play their main event’s game against Afghanistan on June 8.

All the teams will have an advantage to use all of their 15 members, as the warm-up games will not have the status of T20I.
Team India’s first batch including captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid to leave for USA on May 24th. While the second batch will reach USA on May 28 after the completion of ongoing Indian Premier League.
BCCI (Board of control for cricket in India) have selected an experienced squad for the marquee event in search for their first ICC trophy after 2013.
The Indian side reached the semifinals of the previous edition of T20 World Cup which was played in 2022. And the Rohit Sharma-led side are confident of winning the title this time.
India is placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals Pakistan. While Ireland, Canada and USA are the other three teams’ part of their group.
Rohit & Co will start their campaign for the main event against Ireland on June 5.
