Highest opening partnership
Australian openers stunned the English bowlers on Tuesday after smashing the ball every part of the stadium to register the second highest opening partnership for Australia in ODI cricket.
David Warner and Travis Head added 269 runs for the first wicket in the third and final match of the ODI series between Australia and England on Tuesday.
Both scored centuries in the process and provided a solid platform for their side to set a big total on board.
Travis Head played a knock of 152 in just 130 balls with the help of sixteen fours and fours sixes. While David Warner struck 106 off 102. His knock included eight fours and two sixes.
Warner was the first one to depart after registering a record. While trying to pull it away of Olly Stone he failed to get the placement and got caught at deep mid-wicket.
