Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar was trolled for sharing a body transformation picture on social media.

“The sweat, the time, the devotion. It pays off! #TransformationTuesday,” Vijay Shankar captioned the photo on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday.

An all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace last played for India in a World Cup match against West Indies on June 27 and had left midway during the tournament owing to a toe injury.

However, Shankar’s body transformation picture didn’t go out well, and fans trolled him for not focusing on cricket as much as on his body.

Shankar sustained a toe injury while facing a Yorker from Jasprit Bumrah in the nets, forcing him to leave the World Cup campaign.

He made a comeback in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and was included in India A squad for a series against South Africa A.  He, however, was soon ruled out of the series due to thumb injury.
