#10 Shubman Gill (200)
India’s much-talked-about prodigy, Shubman Gill, has finally come into his own in the IPL. Gill has notched up 200 runs in 6 games so far at an average of 33.33. His strike rate of 151.51 is right up there with the best.
#9 Suryakumar Yadav (200)
The fact that Suryakumar Yadav has played two fewer games than others in the list but still makes it to the top 10 speaks volumes about his form. Surya has got going in every game so far. He has amassed 200 runs in 4 innings at an average of 66.67 with a strike rate of 153.84.
#8 Shikhar Dhawan (205)
The southpaw keeps going year after year in the IPL. He has amassed 205 runs so far in 6 games at an average of 34.17. His strike rate is a bit on the lower side (128.93).
#7 Rahul Tripathi (205)
He has again found ways of scoring, this time with the Sunrisers. Tripathi played a beautiful knock against KKR to set up SRH’s win. He has scored 205 runs in 6 games at an average of 51.25. His strike rate of 173.72 is brilliant.
#6 Quinton De Kock (212)
LSG has found a stable opener in Quinton De Kock. The southpaw has scored 212 runs in 6 games at an average of 35.33. His strike rate of 136.77 as an opener is impressive.
#5 Liam Livingstone (224)
This is one of the rare IPLs where middle-order batsmen are among the top run-getters. Liam Livingstone has blasted his way through to 224 runs in 6 games at an average of 37.33. His strike rate of 185.12 is the highest among the top-10 run-getters this season.
#4 Shivam Dube (226)
He has surprisingly been CSK’s best batsman this season. Shivam Dube’s knock of 94 against RCB was of the top draw. Dube has scored 226 runs in 6 games at an average of 45.20. His strike rate of 168.65 has been right up there.
#3 Hardik Pandya (228)
The Gujarat Titans captain, Hardik Pandya, has been inspirational. He has led from the front with aplomb. Pandya has smashed 228 runs in 5 games at an average of 76. His strike rate of 136.52 has been decent too.
#2 KL Rahul (235)
LSG captain, KL Rahul, has powered his way into the run charts. He was at the tenth position in the rankings last week. Rahul has climbed 8 spots this week, thanks to his splendid century against MI. Rahul now has 235 runs in 6 games at an average of 47. His strike rate of 144.17 has been eye-catching.
#1 Jos Buttler (272)
RR is the team that is holding both the aces. If it’s Yuzvendra Chahal in terms of wicket-takers, then it’s Jos Buttler topping the run charts. Buttler has scored 272 runs in 6 games at an average of 68. His strike rate of 152.80 is the highest among the top 10 run-getters currently.
