Team India is all set to start their campaign for the 3-match T20I series against West Indies on July 22 at Queens Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad.
After beating England in England by 2-1, the mighty Indian side will be looking to make the most out it of this tour. However, team India will play this series without their star players like the regular captain Rohit Sharma, veteran Virat Kohli, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and the speedster Jasprit Bumrah.
In the absence of Rohit, Shikhar Dhawan will lead the side with Ravindra Jadeja as his deputy in the ODI series against West Indies.
West Indies, not a weak team either. Although, their recent 3-0 loss against Bangladesh raised too many questions on teams preparation. And with the even bigger challenge as they have to face India, it will be a tough series for them.
However, they have plenty of reliable players in their team who can turn the game in their side’s favour. It will be interesting to see how they will to see how India and West Indies perform in the first ODI on Friday.
