10-Overs update: India vs South Africa

IND vs SA 2022:India after winning the toss decided to bat first and Wayne Parnell started off brilliantly with a maiden over for South Africa. However, India tried to come back with the help of the openers, but India lost Rohit Sharma early on. It’s always difficult to face South African pacers and India struggling to put up a decent total.

At the end of 10 overs of the 30th match of the T20 World Cup, India’s total is 60. In the last 5 overs, India managed to score 34 runs by losing 3 wickets.

During the Power Play overs, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul did not utilise the opportunity, scoring just 33 runs. The power play restrictions didn’t help India to add runs on the scoreboard, as they struggled to score.

Ngidi on fire

Lungi Ngidi bowled a tough 5th over of the innings where India lost both their openers and scored only 5 runs from that over.

Anrich Nortje bowled the 6th over of the innings and kept things tight, conceding just 7 runs from the over. The 7th over of the innings was bowled by Lungi Ngidi who continued the momentum, conceding 8 runs from the over and picking up an important wicket of Virat Kohli.

4 runs came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Lungi Ngidi where he kept things tight. Anrich Nortje bowled the 10th over of the innings, conceding just 9 runs from the over.

The run rate at the end of the 10th over is 6.0. The projected score at this rate at the end of innings would be 120-130 runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Dinesh Karthik are at the crease now.
