IND Vs PAK final: With Pakistan won the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 on Wednesday and became the first team to reach finals of the marquee event, it is most likely that the India will also qualify for the final after defeating England on Thursday.
If that happen, it will be only the second time in the history of the T20 World Cup when both teams locking horns in the finale game of the tournament.

The last time both the Asian giants met in the final of T20 World Cup was in 2007. In the first edition of the marquee event, both the Asian Giants reached the finale which India won by five runs and became the first team to win T20 World Cup.
Pakistan, who lost the final, went to win the second edition of the multi-team event in 2009.
But, after that both teams failed to win the cup.
This is the eighth edition of the competition, and now with a win Pakistan have reached the semis 6 times out of it. While it will be there second final appearance.

India, on the other hand, after winning the inaugural competition, faced a bit hard time in some of the next editions, but they made a comeback and reached the finals in 2014, however failed to win the cup for the second time as they witnessed defeat by 6 wickets.
However, scenes are not yet cleared as India and England second semi-final of the tournament is yet to happen, but considering the current form of both the teams, it is very likely that India will reach the finals and will cross swords with Pakistan on November 13 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Pakistan recorded a comprehensive victory in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup by defeating the New Zealand by 7 wickets.
It was a clear all-round performance by team Pakistan as they first restricted the Blackcaps for just 153 in 20 overs and later chased down the target with ease.
Their openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who were seen clueless in the tournament so far, shone on the night of the big day when it needed the most.
Both added 105 for the first wicket. With Babar scored 53 off 42, and Rizwan played a knock of 57 off 43 and later won the player of the match too.
Now they have 4 days to prepare for the final, and after one day they will get to know about their opposition in the finale.
IND Vs PAK final: Dream Final on cards
India will play England on Thursday, November 9 and high chances are that the men in blue will dominate and qualify for the final on November 13.
Incidentally, both the Asian teams already met in the tournament so far and that too at the same venue where 90,293 spectators witnessed the heroics of Virat Kohli, who led India to victory in that game.
And if India managed to beat England in the second semi-final on Thursday, then we can see a record of spectators on Sunday night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
