IND vs BAN: Jadeja is to make a comeback against Bangladesh in December’22
In the Indian ODI and test squads against Bangladesh in December, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will make a comeback. The left arm hadn’t played since suffering a knee injury at the Asia Cup. Which also prevented him from competing in the T-20 World Cup. Jadeja has been receiving treatment at the National Cricket Academy ever since his injury.
The Bangladesh Series will start on December 4 with the ODIs and culminate on December 26 with the second test match. Due to the short period of time between the Bangladesh series and the New Zealand series, the selectors have chosen a 17-member roster.
After taking a break for the T20 and ODI matches in New Zealand, veteran players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul will now return. In both the ODI and Test teams against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma will serve as the team’s captain.
Jasprit Bumrah’s much anticipated comeback
However, Bumrah’s comeback won’t take place during the Bangladesh series because the pacer is still healing from a stress fracture in his back. However, with his selection to the ODI squad. Uttar Pradesh pacer Yash Dayal receives his first call-up to the India team.
