After a dull T20 World Cup campaign in Australia, both India and Bangladesh are ready to cross swords in the three-match ODI series, starting December 4.
The series will be followed by two-test games. Indian team are currently in New Zealand for the T20 and ODI series, with T20I series was already completed, which India won by 1-0. While New Zealand is currently ahead in the ODI series with 1-0, and the series decider will take place on November 30.
Some of India’s best players, including regular captain Rohit Sharma, Vice-captain KL Rahul, and seasoned veteran Virat Kohli, will fly directly to Bangladesh as they missed the Kiwi series due to workload management, while others, including Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant, will travel to Bangladesh from New Zealand.
The series against Bangladesh will be a good practice for both the teams, and with ICC World Cup 2023 in mind, India is ready to play with its full strength team.

The run-machine Kohli, who faced criticism for his form in the recent times, shut down his critics with his performance in the recently concluded T20 World Cup, where he scored the highest runs in the tournament with 296 in 6 matches at a whooping average of 98.76.
With Kohli back in form, it will be a headache for the hosts as he likes the ODI format the most.
He is the highest run-scorer in the India versus Bangladesh ODIs with 680 runs in 12 matches with the one of best averages of 75.55 and a nearly 100 strike rate.
