ENG vs PAK: England’s lead has been reduced to 29 runs by Pakistan. Who survives the anxious nine overs left before the game ends on day 2. ENG vs PAK: At the End of Day 2 of the Third Test Match
Currently leading by 29 runs, Pakistan finished Day 2 of the third Test match against England at 21/0. In the previous innings of the third Test currently taking place at the National Stadium in Karachi, England was bowled out for 354 runs by Pakistan.
Both Abrar Ahmed and Nauman Ali picked up four wickets each. The Three Lions did, however, manage to take an early 50-run advantage. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope had resumed England’s batting on Sunday with the score at 7 for 1.

Ben Stokes was run out on 47 early in the second session. The only wicket England lost during the post-lunch session. After slowing down and assuming a boundary, Stokes and Brook, who had already put up a 45-run partnership. However, Brook turned around and left his captain stranded in the middle.
However, the Pakistani bowlers had no luck as they bowled for most of the post-lunch session with just one fielder in a catching position. Brook and Ben Foakes had a little issue keeping the scoreboard ticking to a dispersed field with little help from the pitch.

The 114 runs scored in the second session, for the loss of only a solitary wicket. This completely turned the balance of the contest in the favor of the visitors.
Who had otherwise been on an even keel with Pakistan for most of the contest till now. The hosts had conceded 133 runs in the morning. But the three wickets they had picked had ensured that England didn’t run away on what has been unfavorable bowling conditions.
ENG vs PAK: What’s Next on Day 3?
Pakistan has not lost a wicket in the second innings. So Shan Masood and Abdullah Shafique will be looking to take the lead from the get-go on day 3. So that they can set a decent total to defend against the mighty England batsman.
