Big Bash League 2022-2023
The Big Bash League is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia
From December 2022 to January 2023, Cricket Australia’s Twenty20 cricket league known as the Big Bash League (BBL) will play its 12th season (CA). The Big Bash League season 2022–23, often known as BBL12, was the league’s twelfth and final season. It featured 61 professional men’s Twenty20 domestic cricket matches.

Big Bash League Format
Each team will compete in 14 round-robin games in the league stages of the 12-team BBL, which will continue to feature eight teams. The season’s opening match pits Sydney Thunder against Melbourne Stars, while the defending champions open their campaign against Sydney Sixers.
The league stage will consist of a total of 56 games, after which the clubs that qualified will compete in a five-match knockout series that will begin with the Eliminator and end with the Qualifier, Challenger, and Final. With the inclusion of Lavington Sports Ground in Albury, Cazalys Stadium in Cairns, and North Sydney Oval, seventeen locations in 13 cities, including the SCG and MCG, have been chosen to serve as tournament hosts.
