Brisbane Heat held their nerves on the important knockout match of the 2022-23 Big Bash League and defeated the Melbourne Renegades side to advance to the challenger game of the competition.
Having reached the this stage with a win over Sydney Thunder in the Eliminator match, Heat’s both department played as per their reputation and secured a comprehensive win.
Earlier, Shaun Marsh shot an unbeaten 82 in 53 deliveries to help his side post 162 in the knockout BBL 12 game.

Invited to bat, Melbourne Renegades faced a dull start as they lost their opener Martin Guptill in the second over.

Tom Rogers got 2 wickets for his side, but won’t manage to control the Heat batters, while the other bowlers too failed to grip the batters, one of the main reasons behind their defeat in the crucial knockout game that resulted in Renegades elimination from the tournament.
