IND vs AUS Match Highlights: 117 was never a target that would have worried the visitors but Australia just were too dangerous to handle. From ball one, Mitchell Marsh and Head were clear about their intentions as Australia Cruse towards a dominating 10-wicket win over India in the 2nd ODI to level the series.
In the previous game, Marsh batted without any restraints, thus this game was more of a continuation of that one for him. Head received the energy, and he also completely destroyed the Indian attack. They desired a quick conclusion.
IND vs AUS: Early on in the Innings
With his fast bowling, Mitch Starc utterly destroyed the Indian top order by capitalising on some early swings. India lost Gill in the first over, and Rohit, who had been racing after a wide ball, was caught at slips.
After scoring nine points, Rahul lost his wicket, and Surya was LBW after the first pitch. India suffered a powerplay loss of four goals for the first time since the 2019 World Cup semifinal, and Starc was fully to blame.
Nathan Ellis then showed up just as it looked like Virat and Jaddu could be cooperating. He struck out both batters in the span of three over. Sean Abbott was reintroduced to clean up the tail because, despite Axar’s appearance of strength, he received no assistance from it.
Starc eventually made a comeback to kill his fifer by defeating Siraj. The Australian dugout is beaming after they skittled out the opponents for 117.
IND vs AUS: Batter failed to show up in this match
From the get-go, Australia took on the Indian batters and the wickets kept falling which then resulted in a low score. Nobody really persisted, as the Australians were formidable as they dismantled the Indian batting order. Only four batsmen from India scored double-digit runs, and four Indian players were eliminated for a duck. Indians never got the upper hand in the game thanks to this disastrous show.
