In addition to Shafali, Smriti was lost by India in the first over. Despite displaying some promise, Harleen Deol was run out after a mistake with her skipper. Harmanpreet, the captain, missed a straight shot and was out LBW as well as the game progressed.

Though Indian women showed early in the series that they have a strong batting lineup. But today was not their day as they failed to stand up to the occasion. India came into the series already losing the series. India was good until the third T20 but after that, it was all Australian dominance.

The bowler of the match was Heather Graham, who took four wickets and produced a remarkable hat-trick in just two overs. Despite just bowling two overs, she ended up with a final figure of 4/8. Australia demonstrated their talent not just with the bat but also with their bowling, with the exception of Kim Garth, who shared in the wickets. Australia scored a commanding 54-run triumph to claim a crushing 4-1 series victory thanks to strong bat and ball performances.

India started the match well by wicking up wickets as in the first 12 overs they were 84/4. This match was going in India’s favor until the two Australia paired up to take the score to 112/0 in the last 8 overs.
