Multan Cricket Stadium Pitch Report

Multan

Known for one of the greenest outfields in Pakistan, the Multan Cricket Stadium has opened its door for the international games 2001 for the first test between Bangladesh and Pakistan in the Asian Test Championship.

The Multan Cricket Stadium was built as a replacement for Ibn-e-Qasim Bagh Stadium, and also had floodlights installed for the day/night’s games.

The 30,000-seating capacity stadium hosted its first one-day international in 2003 between Pakistan and Bangladesh, while the first day/night match was played between India and Pakistan in 2006.

The Multan Cricket Stadium is also home to a PSL (Pakistan Super League) team, Multan.

Multan Cricket Stadium Pitch Report

The Multan Cricket Stadium’s pitch is a little dry one that provides much assistance to the slow bowlers. Batter may enjoy batting here during the initial overs of the innings, but they may struggle during the middle overs.

Despite the results of the games showing 50:50 results, the winning captains are happy to choose batting first here.
