IND vs AFG Asia Cup 2022: India and Afghanistan are all set to face each other in the fifth match of the super four stages of the Asia Cup on Thursday at the Dubai International Stadium.
Team India will hope to finish the season on a high note by defeating Afghanistan after suffering a 6-wicket loss to Sri Lanka and a 5-wicket loss from Pakistan in their Super-4 encounters.
Team Afghanistan will also try to win this game in order to boost their confidence going into the ICC T20 World Cup, starting next month.
Team Afghanistan was exceptional in the marquee event, defeating tough opponents Sri Lanka and then Bangladesh in the league stage of the game but losing their Super-4 games on nail-biting points.
With both India and Afghanistan after losing both their games in the Super Four stage, already out of the race of final, will look to win their last match of the competition to regain a much-needed confidence.
Both Sri Lanka and Pakistan have qualified for the final, but as part of the schedule, they will play each other on Friday at the Dubai International Stadium before their matchup on Sunday for the Asia Cup title.
