Since the semi-final World Cup in England last year, MS Dhoni has not played a single competitive game. He was about to play in this year’s IPL (Indian Premier League), but the current coronavirus pandemic has postponed until further notice. Fans excited to see their Mahi back in the field but now they have to wait and even doubts arise about the international future of Dhoni.
Not only the fans but even his teammates are missing his presence now. Yuzvendra Chahal many times gives credit to MS Dhoni for his success.

This is not the first time the presence of MS Dhoni on and off the field has been missing. Even in his Chahal TV show, the leggie had once said that none of the team members were sitting in Dhoni’s place on the team bus and that it was forever reserved for the man.
Tricky situation for MS Dhoni?
MS Dhoni has not played international cricket ever since India lost the semifinals to the World Cup against New Zealand. While there were speculations that he could play the T20 World Cup later this year on the basis of the IPL. The IPL seems more and more unlikely this season, but many people say that the situation has turned difficult for the former Indian skipper.
Even MSK Prasad has recently felt the same thing as disclosing that he wanted to stay away from the game for a while, which is why they backed Rishabh Pant. “We had a talk, and for some time, Mahi hadn’t wanted to play, so we went on and then picked Rishabh Pant.
“Now KL has done an excellent job in NZ, so it would be cool if the IPL had this and we’d see the old glimpses back on Mahi, but that’s a tricky situation now,” said in an interview.
