The wicket-keeper batsman of New Zealand, Tim Seifert has been confirmed as an addition to the team of Kolkata Knight Riders. Ali Khan, who was joined by Harry Gurney also ruled out of the 2020 IPL because of a side strain injury. He was selected from the CPL. As per the CEO of KKR, Venky Mysore, the fast bowler of the USA was on the recovery stage, but Khan couldn’t recover in time and that resulted in his replacement. Earlier, Northern Districts had given confirmation that Seifert will be a truant for the Plunket Shield as he was just a replacement in IPL.
