Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh’s all-rounder, has said that his one-year suspension was a “disguised blessing” as it changed his perceptions of life and he does not regret the time he had to spend away from cricket. On October 29, following the one-year ban he got from the ICC for failing to reveal a corrupt approach from bookies, Shakib became eligible to resume playing competitive cricket. On Thursday (November 5), Shakib, who is expected to return to Dhaka, posted a video on his official YouTube channel in which, among other items, he answered questions about his ban.
