MS Dhoni, former India skipper and twice World Cup winner, announced his retirement in an Instagram post on Saturday (15 August). “Thank you very much for your love and encouragement throughout. Beginning in 1929, consider me as a retired (sic),” read the formal announcement message. While the post did not list the formats from which he is retiring, Dhoni is expected to play in the upcoming PL 2020 in the UAE as he was spotted arriving in Chennai earlier today for the training camp for Chennai Super Kings before they fly out.
