Former England batsman Nick Compton disclosed how they had sledged India’s captain Virat Kohli during the series during England’s tour of India in 2012, after he had criticized Compton for talking with his ex-friend.Compton said he’d met her a night before the series and spoke to her, and Kohli, who wasn’t a captain at the moment, wasn’t happy about it, and would have “a few words” with him as he went out to bat. Yet it didn’t work in favour of Kohli, because the players in England used it then to try to wind him up.
