Soon after, he went back to his coach and read that the Delhi rabbi had asked him the reason behind the rejection as he was clueless about his performance. However, Virat Kohli said his passion and commitment helped him regain his motivation for a better show than the previous one.
“I was rejected for the first time in the state selections. I remember it was late at night, and I cried. When you have passion and commitment, that motivation comes back to you,” said the 31-year-old.
