Narine has now voiced his opinions on his association with KKR. The right-arm spinner stated that he’s only featured for KKR in the entire IPL and really wants to continue his services with the same franchise in the future too. Narine described KKR as his “home away from home,” and expressed his confidence that he can keep contributing to the two-time IPL winners.
“There’s no other place I’d like to be than KKR because I have played all my cricket here. I would love to continue representing the franchise It’s a home away from home, my second home. So, I hope it can continue,” said Narine.

Sunil Narine also said that just being called out for illegal bowling was a tough time for him. Narine went on to say that cricket hasn’t been simple for him and that he had to dig really deep once more to make it back with a rebuilt action.
Narine concluded by saying – “It (being called for illegal bowling action in 2020) was tough! But at the end of the day, cricket was never easy for me. I had to work for everything I have. So, it was just like another stepping stone where I had to dig deep, work hard and come out on top,”
Sunil Narine has played in 134 IPL games, capturing 143 wickets at an avg. of 24.53. He has also struck 954 runs in the competition with a whopping strike rate of 161.69. KKR also secured Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, and Varun Chakravarthy in addition to Narine.
