Sourav Ganguly went into home quarantine:
Sourav Ganguly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president went into home quarantine on Wednesday (15-07-2020) after his elder brother Snehasish Ganguly tested COVID-19 positive. Snehasish Ganguly is a former first-class cricketer of Bengal and also the joint secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).
After the COVID-19 report came positive, Snehasish has been admitted to the Belle Vue Hospital, situated in Kolkata. An official of CAB told PTI “From the last few days, Snehasish Ganguly was suffering from fever and today his COVID test report came positive. And now he has been admitted to Belle Vue Hospital”.
A source near to the BCCI president, Sourav Ganguly said “The COVID-19 reports of Snehasish Ganguly arrived in the evening time. According to health protocols, even his brother Sourav Ganguly will need to be in-home quarantine for a specific period of time.”
After having confirmation on the positive COVID-19 report, Snehasish Ganguly had moved to their ancestral home, where Sourav Ganguly is living in Behala after his in-laws and his wife shifted to Mominpur residence.
The former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly was unavailable to give his comment on this incident.
Now, during an interview, Sourav Ganguly had discussed after the outbreak of COVID-19, how life all around him has completely changed, making every individual more helpless.
Also, he added, “My brother, Snehasish visits our factories regularly and he is at more risk.”
